Hi Jaclyn, this is Sara again. I think we got our wires crossed. I will try again. In message #16 to Sherm Carston, you stated that your grandfather was Roy Bonkosky, his father was Fred and his mother was Mary Bonkosky. What I was trying to confey to you, is that the late Fred Bonkosky from what I've been able to gather is the last child born to my 2nd great grandparents Peter Bonkosky and Eva Krause. They emmigrated from Prussia around 1892 and Fred was 2 years old when they got to the U.S.Some of Peter and Eva's children already lived here in the U.S. in Nebraska where my grandfather was born.Peter and Eva moved to Southern California around 1895/1896, they lived in Anaheim/Buena Park. In the 1900 Buena Park, Orange Co., CA Federal Census Fred was living at home and was 10 years old. According to the Census they were all born in Germany, however, on Peter's death certificate it says he was born in Prussia/Germany.Also, on Peter's death certificate it states he was divorced when he passed away. So, Eva and Fred who was only 16 when Peter died, moved somewhere. My thought is that they moved in with one of her other adult children, Maybe with William F. or Herman Bonkosky. Hope to hear from you soon, Sara
