Just in case you could have been wrong about the year- My mother was born "Baby Bonin" in the summer of 1951 in Biddeford, ME and put up for adoption. She was told that her mother was 34 years old and separated (not sure if that info is true). Not sure if Bonin was father or mother's last name. There probably isn't a connection, but I thought it was worth a shot.
