Sorry about the delay in answering, illness took over. My Bonin line started in 1650 De-Blacqueville, Rouen, Normandie, France with Paul Bonin and Agatha Allard. Their son Francois Pierre Bonin Senior (married Antoinette Fagot) was stationed around 1720 or so in Mobile, Attacapas Region of then French Louisiana. He died there in 1740. However Almost all of the French families that settled in Acadie are my ancestry, just haven't tied my Bonin line to any of the Canadian Bonin's yet.
