I have a Bonin family from Saint Martinville, Saint Martin Parish, Louisiana. My GGGGrandfather was Octave Pierre BONIN (b. 05 June 1814 in Saint Martinville). He was married to Pelina REEVES on 22 December 1839. Together thay had ten children: William, Louis, Octavies, Charles Derbes, Evelina, Paul, Joseph, Albany, Elizarde, and Leonard. According to my research, Louis married Emelie Constantine and had at least one son named Arthur. Unfortunately, that is where the potential similarity ends. Do you have any additional information about your ancestors?
