Alfred Louis Bonin, b. 1816, was son of Jean Baptiste Bonin and Marguerite Marcellite Judice; Jean Baptiste Bonin, b. March 1779, was only child of Antoine Bonin and Magdelaine Prevost; Antoine Bonin, b. 1743, was son of Antoine Bonin Sr., b. 1715 at Grenoble St. Laurent, Dauphine, France, and Marie Margarite Tellier. Antoine Sr. was a fusillier in the French Army, stationed at Fort Toulouse near Mobile Alabama, where he married in Oct. 1740.
