I have Alexander Bonham born in Fauquier Co., VA July 20, 1811. Father was David Bonham born about 1778 also in Fauquier Co. and mother Tacy Phillips born 1783 in Virginia. David's father was Benjamin Bonham Sr., who was my gggg-grandfather. He was born in Piscataway, NJ in 1742 and married Phoebe Oney in Virginia in about 1766. From here, Benjamin's father was Nehemiah born in 1702; his father Hezekiah, born 1668 in NJ; his father, Nicholas Bonham, born about 1630 in Essex Co., England. Nicholas Bonham's wife was Hannah Fuller, daughter of Samuel Fuller, Mayflower Pilgrim. I am researching the Benjamin Bonham Sr. lines that settled in Tennessee, but would be interested in the information about the Iowa Bonhams. The one other thing I can tell you about Alexander and Susan Yarnell is that they were said to have married in 1833 in Harrison Co., Ohio. I don't know if this is true or not but it is a lead perhaps. Hope this is help.
