We were just in Columbia SC and visited the Caiptol. Luke Milledge Bonham's full length picture hans in the balcony of the Senate. They folks there were kind enough to unlock the balcony and allow us to take a good picture of him.
The two we visted with were quite familiar with him. the SC Governor during the Civil War.
Absalom is the Bonham who went to NC/SC
