I am researching my grandfather Obed Bonham line. He was born 1856, m. Mary Ellen Henderson b. 4/12/1865 d. 1926 GA dau of John Q. Henderson in Duplin County, NC. They came to Wayne County GA sometime between 1895-1896. They had 12 children; Jim b. 6/1/1882, Mamie m. Bryce George 5/27/1900, Victoria b. 8/1889 d. 1923 m. John Flowers 6/28/06, Willie b. 5/19/1881 d. 10/31/1982, Wardie b. 8/10/1893 d. 4/27/68 m. John Bethune 11/07/09, Lawrence R. b. 7/28/1895 d. 7/28/58 m. Mary Westberry (Blanton), John Lester b. 11/2/1896, d. 11/9/80 m. Mimey Jane Herrin 9/30/16, Florence b. 6/20/1900 d. 3/25/91 m. James (Jim) Edenfield, Sylvester b. 1902 d. 1952 m. Katie Clark, James O. b. 1908 d. 12/23/73 m. Ella Stanfield, Jesse b. 8/4/09, W. Brantley b. 5/6/13 m. Edna Davis.

I would appreciate hearing from anyone who has any information on any of these names. Most interested in finding siblings and parents of Obed. There is supposed to be Native American (Cherokee) in this line. Unable to find any information beyone the marriage of Obed and Mary Ellen in Duplin County (Island Creek) NC.
