Mayo- VANCE BONHAM, 85, husband of Mary Blackwell Bonham, died Friday in a veteran hospital in Asheville after a long illness.
Native of Polk County, N.C., resident of Spartanburg County for the past 56 years; son of the late JOHN and Pee Garrett BONHAM; member of Cooley Springs Baptist Church ; WW1 veteran; retired farmer.
Surviving; daughters, Mattie Sue Bonham of the home and Mrs. Betty Wall of Chesnee; son, Howard Bonham of Chesnee; sister, Mrs. Mary Roberts of Spartanburg; one grandchild.
Services today at Forest Lawn Funeral Chapel, burial in Springs Hill Memorial Gardens.
Nephews will be pallbearers.
