You present a very good point about Mary Dunn.I don't have an answer to your question but I did want to share an observation.

For what it's worth. I was in Barnstable, Massachusetts in October and noticed that there is actually a street named Mary Dunn St.

I was not prepared to do any research at the time but it would seem that Mary Dunn, whoever she was, must have been a prominent member of the community of Barnstable.

I wonder if there are any clues to our Mary in Barnstable?
