Hi, I, too, am a direct descendant of Nicholas Bonham (great, great, grandfather to James Butler Bonham who died at the Alamo.I have two books which may be of interest to you. I got them through Amazon.com. They are James Butler Bonham, The Rebel Hero by Jean Flynn and Mayflower Families Through Five Generations, Vol. Ten, Samuel Fuller father of Hannah who married Nicholas Bonham. Hope these help some...they have me. My other information is that Nicholas and Hannah were married in Barnstable, MA in 1659. I believe Samuel's wife was Bridgett Lee from Holland. I am still working on these connections. Nicholas and Hannah stayed in the MA area but some of the children James Bonham moved into the piedmont of South Carolina, Edgefield County. They are my direct connection. I am trying to fill in the gaps. I have my generations software and plan to begin getting some of this information in order. Right now my notes are a mess as I tend to work without a printer presently. We just got our computer so I have just gone "Hog Wild" with searching. Stay in touch with my EMail and maybe we can pull some of this information together. James Butler Bonham had a brother named Milledge but I am not sure if he is Milledge Lipscomb Bonham or his son. Curious??
