I've been thinking of doing the dna testing, but I don't understand it, so I'm not sure how much information I'll gain. The farthest back that I can prove my ancestry through the census and other documents i've found is to my 3rd great grand father, Zedekiah K Bonham born 24 Dec 1828 in Washington, Pennsylvania. But through other people's family trees and other documents it goes to Ameriah, Samuel, Jeriah, Amariah, Hezekiah, Nicholas, Sir George, William, Thomas, William, Sir Thomas, Sir Thomas, Sir Nicholas, Sir John, Maurice de Bonham, Nicholas de Bonham, John de Bonham, Maurice de Bonham born 1273, son of Juliana de Albiniaco, sister of King Henry III of England. But all that information can easily have missing links, errors, or be totally off. That's why I've been thinking of doing the dna testing.
