Nehemiah and Hezekiah and the Daniel Coxe affair

Have been reading an exceptionally interesting article called "JERSEY SETTLEMENT ORIGINS: HOPEWELL, NEW JERSEY & THE INFAMOUS COXE AFFAIR; First Families of Jersey Settlement" by Ethel Stroupe copyright 1996.

I pulled it up on the internet quite by accident. Nehemiah Bonham and Hezekiah Bonham are listed in 1733 and 1735 respectively; Nehemiah on a list[Fifty Men's Compact] of fifty men who sued Daniel Coxe; Hezekiah Bonham on a list of men "Escaped for Debt."

The url is: http://www.tamu.edu/ccbn/dewitt/mckstmerjersey.htm

The article certainly made me pose some new questions as to when and how some of the Bonhams were found in NC. Perhaps some of you know more than is revealed in the article.
