Another claim to fame: My children's great grandmother was Alice Bonham. She married John Walker around 1894 in probably San Antonio,Texas. I do know they lived in the Corpus Christi area at one time. Nellie told about moving from Corpus to Sinton,Texas, as a child, and that her father drove a buggy across the bay during low tide. Also that they lived in Galveston during the famous hurricane of Galveston.
their daughters were:
Nellie Campbell Walker, born Feb. 03, 1895 in TX and died Nov. 14, 1989 in San Benito, Cameron Co., TX.
Nellie Walker married Fred Chriatiansen in San Antonio, about 1914.
Vera Walker died Calif.

My mother-in-law, Nellie Walker Christiansen, always said that they were related to James Bonham.

should you come across this family Bonham please keep me in mind.
