I know your frustration. I have been trying for many months to track my lineage. I started with records from Ellis Is. N.Y. and came up with a few vacationing Bonesteels.(REF:Ellis Island records.org) Amazingly I traced the N.Y. and Mi. link to Ontario Ca. Most of my family is in Mi. and I believe they immigrated from Canada threw N.Y. Check Ontario and Nicklaus Bohenstheil. Also the words Palantine and Bohemia.......Good Luck
