I am trying to find out how and when Ezra Bonesteel, my great-grandfather, died. He was born in Summit County, Ohio about 1849, the youngest child of Jacob and Eleanor. On 18
Oct. 1868 he married Anna Goeppert in Summmit
County. The 1880 census(Boston Township, Ohio) lists Anna & 4 children only. There is a rumor that Ezra was hanged. Is this rumor true or false?
