Zacharias Simon 12/16/1768 married Magalene Bonesteel 2/28/1772-1851, married 9/14/1788
Magdalene Bonesteel Daughter of Johann Philip Bonesteel 1/18/1730 - 8/15/1798 married Elizabetha Hagedorn.
Magdalene Bonesteel, her Brother was Fredrick Bonesteel married a Rodha Carpenter 1802-1866 married 8/5/1866.
Rodha 1802 Daughter of Samuel Carpenter 5/22/1772-1850 and Elizabeth King 1780.
Samuel 5/22/1772 in Scituate, RI Son of John Carpenter 12/26/1750 RI -5/29/1828 Smithville Flats, NY and Sarah Jenks 5/18/1753 in RI.
Samuel has a Sister Anna Carpenter 1773-1831.
There is your connection, Samuel and Anna, brother and sister. Samuel's Daughter Rodah married Fredrick Bonesteel, he is brother to Magdalene Bonesteel, who married Zacharias Simon. I have other info on the families. The Carpenter's moved from RI area to Chenango Co., NY abt 1797. <excerpt>
