The proof of the parentage for Elizabeth is located in the Ulster Co Probate Records. The will of Philip Bonesteel of Woodstock lists his son Henry, wife Sarah (his 2nd wife), daughter Anna wife of William B. Sheldon, son Philip P., son Peter, and lastly daughter "late Elizabeth wife of Aaron Adam" and "Caroline and Angeline Adams, children of Elizabeth and Aaron Adams"
This isn't my direct line so I didn't copy down all the info but the probate file contained a lot more information about where the various family members were living.
