OBITUARY

Alice Leonard died June 28, 1941; widow of Robert John Leonard and a resident of this city for many years, died in the Belleville General Hospital on Salturday, June 28th. She was in Failing Health for some time.
The late Mrs. Leonard had reached the advanced age of eighty-one years and was born at Cannifton, Haistings Co. Ontario. Being a dau. of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Adams (Lawrence Dezand Adams). She was the last of her family. In religion Mrs. Leonard was a member of the Victoria Ave. Baptist Church and was highly esteemed. Mr. F. C. Fairman of this city is a cousin of the Deceased. (Belleville). The funeral took place this monday afternoon from the Thomas C. Thompson Funeral Home, 38 Everett St. Belleville, The service in the chapel was conducted by the Rev. C.T. Olmstead and Interment was made in the Belleville Cemetery.
Robert and Alice lived on 139 North Front St. Belleville, Ontario.
