Craig, See my general post on Henry E. Bonesteel, who lived in Niobrara, Knox county Nebraska in the 1870's. Propriotor of Bonesteel and Turner (lumber and othe products) with stores in Springfield, Dakota Territory and Niobrara, Nebraska. He was a Nebraska Senator (not sure if State of US Senate).

While reading River Rat Town by Danny Liska (History of Niobrara), I ran into the name Bonesteel very ofter. So, decided to post some information to provide a missing piece of someone's puzzle.

H.E. Bonesteel and my g-g-grandfather Edwin A. Fry were probably friends. Went out to Niobrara about 7 years ago and found out that my Edwin was born in Norwalk, CT. I live in CT and still laugh at the fact I had to go halfway across the country to find out Edwin lived the next town over from where I grew up.
