Maybe someone can help me find my final link to my Bonesteels in NY. I have been working on this line for nearly two years, I finally got a breakthough this week and found the person that is one link away from my NY Bonesteels...this is what I know: my St. Louis, MO "Albert Bonstell came from Wolf River, Doniaian Co., Kansas.
The 1880 census in Wolf River reads:
Jane Bonesteel a widow parents born in NY
Albert Bonesteel 20 son parents born in NY
Arthur Bonesteel 16 son parents born in NY
George Bonesteel 6 gson father born in Kansas mother born in Ohio.
Albert Bonstell (note the name change) appears on the 1900 census in St. Louis with his wife
Kattie, dau Maggie, son Albert, son Earl (my line) and dau
Amy.
I need to find whom/who Jane's husband was and his parents.
If the good Lord's a willin and the creeks don't rise this would enable me to complete the line from now back to 1600-1700 Bonesteel's!
