On Mar 15, 1838, in the State vs Thomas Boner: "Ordered by the court that Thomas Boner the defendant in this case pay to Eliza Billiter $24 as the first years allowance for the support and maintenance of a bastard child of which he is the reputed father"
Seeking information on family of Thomas Boner/Eliza Billiter b abt 1818 NC. In 1850 Greene Co TN census a Thomas is listed as a child with last name Hendrix, date agrees with above birthdate. Eliza married William F. Hendrix in 1840 in Stokes, NC.
