I am a descendant of Laura Brown and James William Thomas of Fayetteville, Pa. I just recently found that Laura Brown's grandmother was a Bonebrake. Wilson was their son and Laura's father. Wilson's father John A. Brown was b. around 1810 in Pa. d. 31 Jan.
1901 in Fayetteville, Pa. His wife Margaret Bonebrake was b. 11 Oct.
1808 in Pa. d. 31 Mar. 1863 in Franklin Co., Pa. They were married on
26 Oct. 1830 in Franklin County. I believe they made their home in
Greenwood, just east of Fayetteville. In the announcement of their
marriage in the Franklin Repository newspaper it states "John Brown (of
Alexander) Fayetteville, to Miss Margaret Bonbreak of Green Township". It appears this family left children through marriage as they traveled west. Please let me know if any of these appear in your family trees
