Bone Family Genealogy Forum

I am another of the researchers trying to distinquish my John Bone from the MANY other John Bone's in and around the KY, IN, IL, MO area's in the early 1800's. I recently came across a website that has John Bone and Delilah Bone as children of a Cornelius Bone. The webite has Delilah as living in IN, which is where my John Bone resided. Much of my research is leading me back to a Cornelius Bone who resided in Muhlenburg County and married a Triphena Reeve in 1810. I have no direct documentation yet at this point to support my theory of the relationship between my John Bone and Cornelius of Muhlenburg County. Cornelius fought in the war of 1812 and I can not find any documentation on him after he went to battle in New Orleans in 1815. His wife I believe remained in Muhlenburg for aprox another 25 years and then possibly moved to IN and remarried. I have numerous peices of documentation showing that all of the involved parties were in the same places at the same times but it is just a matter of linking them. I would love to hear additional information that you may have on John and Delilah. I have seen many postings re the international connection but have had no reason to look in other countries at this point. One document on my John Bone says that he is of Scotch Irish descent. So, I don't want to leave any stone unturned, would you be willing to share your information that you have so far on these Bone cousins? I have a bit of information re John Bone of Warrick County IN between the years of 1836 when he married Artimas Small until his death in 1849 when he died of Cholera in Helena Arkansas, and an extensive list of his descendants. I also have researched many of the other Bone cousins from around the area if you are interested. Please e-mail me at L1961G@sigecom.net
