Jan, If you are still out there I would love to see the information on James Bone and his two wives and children. I am trying to locate a missing link from my John Bone in southern IN to a family in KY. My John Bone married Artemecia Small in Warrick County in 1836. Records indicate he ws originally from KY but I have found nothing to identify who his parents or any of his siblings were. He died of Cholera in Helena Ark in 1849 leaving his wife and two young sons behind here in Warrick County, IN. I believe he may somehow may be linked to John Bone the revoltionary soldier out of Muhlenberg County KY. I have reason to beleive that my John Bone of Warrick County IN was the son of a Cornelius Bone and Triphenia Reeves out of Muhlenberg Co., KY. The theory I am trying to track is that of a Cornelius Bone who married a Triphnia Reeves in 1810. Cornelius seems to disappear after the Battle of New Orleans in 1815 but I have found nothing to verify his death. Triphenia appears on the census in Muhlenberg County in 1820 and 1830 but not in 1840. In 1838 a Triphena Bone marries a Charles Little in Warrick County. The 1850 census shows her name as Fraphina and that she is 49 years old. I believe this is one and the same person, since marriage records have her name listed as Triphena in one case and Tuphena in another. Of interest also is that the only other Bone listed on the Muhlenberg County census is that of John Bone believed to be the revoltionary soldier. However it is also worth mentioning that John (of the revolution)had a son named John who this could have been. I am trying to locate families of the surrounding family in KY to verify or disprove my theory. I would appreciate any thing that may be of interest if James or any of his surrounding relatives moved to KY. Thanks.
