I have been doing some research on the Kidd family and it has been slow. My Grandfather William Kidd married Martha Bone, my Grandmother. They lived in Oglesby Ill. not far from Streator. I'm not sure when they married I'm working on this end now. I have just returned from Scotland where I was able to find the Kidd's. They came to America in 1880, but I can't find much about them in the States.
So I thought I would look into the Bone family. I have an old family picture with an old woman in it, I seem to remember someone saying that was Grandma Bone.
I'm going to go to the cemetery and check on dates soon. Bill
