There are two bookd: THE BONE FAMILY IN AMERICA, by Dr. R. G. Bone, 1972 and THE
BONE CENTENNIAL 1837-1937, by John Thomas Bone.

You are correct that the family traces to Scotland emigrating to Ireland about 1610.
William Bone I came to US about 1692 entering
Pennsylvania. Two brothers, John and Henry also came with him Both returned to Ireland . John stayed there and henry retuned US. These may be your link Good Hunting and please exscuse the first send.
