Fascinating! I know from Kentucky marriage records that Samuel Lewis was the husband of Polly Bone, a likely sister of Azariah. So possibly James Bone was effectively conveying all that property to his son and daughter.

It would be surprising if James Bone were a brother of Azariah, as he was already on the Logan county tax list in 1795 while Azariah was only born sometime between 1780 and 1785.

You wouldn't know of a wife of James Bone, would you?
