Hello gentlemen. My self, in Canada, and a Peter BONE in Hampshire are researching the BONEs of Hampshire. The earliest we have are two possible brothers...Benjamin BONE b. abt. 1774 who married in 1796 to a Sarah DEADMAN b. abt. 1776.....and Eli BONE b. abt 1775 who married in 1797 a Jemima KNIGHT b. abt 1778. Both of these BONEs were residents of the Alton area, in particular, Selborne, Kingsley, Hartley Mauditt, East and West Worldham. I am descended from Eli's son Thomas b. abt 1816 at Selborne. Thomas left England abt. 1849 or 1850 and went to Canada...Ontario...York County. I have traced nearly all of Thomas' descendants. It sounds like we should all be comparing data. Peter and I are having difficulty determining who the parents of Eli and Benjamin were. Also, there is a gap between 1797 and 1808 showing no children christened for Eli as well as a gap from 1817 to 1837. We assume the family moved around a bit but not sure where. Any help appreciated and gladly reciprocated where possible.
