Simon, Billie was married to my mother's brother. I have letters that Billie sent to my mother after she returned to England. My mother and Billie evidently remained fond of each other despite the marriage break-up, etc. I found the letters among my mother's treasures and wondered if Billie had found a happy life for herself, if she had other children, and if I could possibly get a lead on finding Paul. I found a relative but was advised that Paul was out of favor with the family and I should not try to contact him, so there was nothing I could do to follow up with that. Thank you for your response.
