Hi Lissa,

Is your Hill line the same as the Hill line the Bones married into? Thomas Bone (1734 - 1797) had a daughter Jane that married James McCreary Hill, III, 4 Sep 1790 in NC. James is one of my ancestors. I think this was the first marriage between the Bones and Hills. Several others took place as the two families moved from PA to NC to TN and on to KY.

I have traced my Hills back to a David b. c 1680 in County Anterim, N. Ireland. His son James, and other members of the family, came to PA in 1740.
