Re: The Mystery of Roger Dix Bond

Hi,

I am looking for information on what might have happened to Roger Dix Bond. He was born in Stafford England in 1870, the middle son of George Bond and Hannah Boon Dix.

I know that the parents died towards the end of the 1870's and that both Roger and his younger brother, Alfred Edwin(1872) were placed in Stafford workhouse as pauper inmates by 1881.

I also know that Alfred was living with his mother's sister, Sarah Bates (nee Dix)in 1891 and possibly married a Sarah Rose Anne Long in 1906.

However, all trace of Roger vanishes after 1881. He is nowhere to be found on any GRO records after this date.

Any help would be appreciated.

Regards
Frank
