I am looking for a Samuel Bond b 1770. There are four possible candidates I am examining: #1 the prime candidate is Samuel Bond b 1700 Nothampton (now Monroe) Co., PA who m Ann Griffith 12 Feb 1733 because they married at 1st Presbyterian in Philadelphia and the family were known to have been Presbyterians in later generations, and because the dates seem to match up;however, elsewhere this Samuel Bond is listed as 1715-1779 NOT 1700-1777 and I don't know which set of dates is correct on him; candidate #2would be Samuel Bond b 1700 Newland, Gloucester, England who m Anne Morgan; #3 Samuel Bond b 1700 Providence, Chester, PA m Phebe Booth is another possibilty; and, possibility #4 is Samuel Bond b 1700 son of William and Hepziba Bond in Watertown, Middlesex, MA...so, if you come from the Watertown line, do you know if this son of William Bond b 1700 in Watertown could have become the father of a son who at least wound up eventually living in Newark , NJ?
