Rutledge & Col. balch, tennessee Committee, Judge Peck, General dodge, Col. Wash, Col. O'Fallon, st. Louis Committee. The committee for arrangments were General Edgar, Gov. Bond, William Morrison, sr., Capt. stacy McDonough, Judge Pope, Hon. E.K. Kane, Col. Menard, Col. Greenup, Col. Mather, Major Maxwell, Major Humphreys, Dr. Betts, and Pierre Menard, Jr. a nice dinner was served. Then Lafayette proceeded to the residence of William Morrison, sr., where a ball was given in his honor." Vol. 3, #109, Thurs. May 5, 1825, Kaskaskia Republican
