My Bonar ancestor was Nancy (b. 1794; m. to Jacob Waychoff). I have found hints that her father was William (b. 1755 in Maryland) and his father was John (b. about 1730; m. to Christian Ingram). Does anyone have information confirming this line for Nancy Bonar Waychoff?
Also, some researchers indicate John's father as William (b. 1669) and his mother as Marie Moncrieff) also born about 1669. This makes William and Marie quite old to be John's parents. Is it possible that John of 1730 is the son of a John born about 1697 and that would establish the link to William of 1669?
