Hi Paul, Thanks. I just want to direct your attention to Bev Farrington's posts on this family: Augustin & Pelagie Boileau: http://genforum.genealogy.com/bombardier/messages/259.html Rene Augustin & Pelagie Mace: http://genforum.genealogy.com/bombardier/messages/260.html Andre & Suzanne Courtemanche: http://genforum.genealogy.com/bombardier/messages/278.html Francois & Marie Louise Riendeau: http://genforum.genealogy.com/bombardier/messages/279.html The only serious discrepancy is with Aurelie who married Moise LeFebvre. Bev has her as the daughter of JB and Marie Josephte Duguay, and not his brother Ephrem and Therese Duguay, as you have. Either contention is plausible, based on the limited evidence. Aurelie and her husband and children were living two doors down from Ephrem in St Valentin for the 1851 census. Rebecca, the daughter of JB (and therefore possibly her sister) was living with her. Aurelie was Rebecca's godmother (JB Jr, possibly her brother, was Rebecca's godfather). But Ephrem and his wife were the godparents of Aurelie's first child, Moise Jr, hinting at the possibility that they were Aurelie's parents. Do you have any info that might clear this up? Bill PS: You're probably aware that the Duguay gals were sisters. Notify Administrator about this message?
