Parents Unknown - one correspondent has suggested Francois Bombardier & Seraphine Patenaude as the parents - unable to find a link - any help appreciated.
Jean-Baptiste - born @1826/1827 - died between 1862 - 1869
Marie Salois - born @1830 - I believe she was the D/o Pierre Salois & Adelaide Dumas. Pierre & Adelaide had daughter Marguerite marry 4 Jul 1859 at St. Peter’s of Plattsburgh to Edmond Bubaye aka Thompson. JB & Marie’s daughter Lucie is residing with Marguerite and Edmond/Edward in the 1870 US Census at Plattsburgh.
Pierre Salois & Adelaide Dumas married 29 Sep 1829 at St-Ours, Richelieu. Daughter Marie-Aurelie was born and baptized on 1 Sep 1830 at St-Ours, and this Marie-Aurelie is the same as the wife of Jean-Baptiste.
Furthermore, Aurelie Salois married in 1876 at Plattsburgh to Alexandre Fagnan, with one of her witnesses being Marguerite Salois. I contend this is Jean-Baptiste’s widow in a 2nd marriage. See 1880 US Census listing further along.
