Your grandfather's half-brother was Roger John Bombard, b. abt. 1909 in N.Bangor., N.Y., in Franklin Co. The family moved to Cape Vincent when he was fairly young and his father John Bombard and Bertha separated. She remarried to your great-grandfather. She is buried in Cape Vincent.
Roger John Bombard married Lilla Ada in Cape Vincent. Among their children was Roger William Bombard, b. 1935, Cape Vincent. He married Philomena Storino in 1961 in Watertown, N.Y. My wife is their oldest child, Phyllis Bombard (now Phyllis Taylor). That make her your half third cousin. She also has a sister living in Orlando. Although my in-laws reside in Watertown, they are often in Wildwood, Fla., for a time each winter.
Incidently, I am from Jacksonville, Fla. and have lived in Palm Harbor, Tallahassee, Spring Hill and now West Melbourne, as well as Bainbridge, Ga.; and Sanford and Tarboro, N.C.
I'd be interested in anything you could tell us on the Vivlamore line. It's the one line on which we have very little information. Thanks.
-- Frank Taylor
