John Bombard, born in N.Bangor, NY, around 1885, married Bertha Vivlamore (or Vivlimore). Her father may have been Francis "Frank" Vivlimore of Bangor, a native of Ft. Covington and a Civil War veteran.
John is probably related to the Mitchell Bombard family, though I haven't been able to make this exact connection.
John and Bertha migrated to Cape Vincent, NY, in Jefferson County sometime after 1909 when their son Roger John Bombard was born in N.Bangor. Bertha later divoreced John and remarried a DeJourdan in Cape Vincent.
Roger John Bombard married Lilla Ada in Cape Vincent and their son Roger W. Bombard, b. 1935, Cape Vincent, is my father-in-law.
