Liz,

My great grandfather, William L. Boltz, enlisted in the Union Army in 1863 in a regiment which was recruited in northwest Ohio. I believe his family was living in Hancock County, Ohio at the time. I would be interested in any information on any Boltz family living in Hancock County, Ohio in the 1860's. I am searching for William Boltz's parents' names. While Jacob Boltz may be from a different family, the name is not common.
