Melody: I believe your great-great grandfather was the brother to my great grandmother, Margaret (Marguerite) Rassel Boltz and also the brother to Henri Boltz who is named on the message board from his great granddaughter Lois Jensen McClaran. If you read the followups listed you will find that I have the obituary information of Michel Boltz. The children you list and that of the obituary don't match exactly however. Maybe some children, including your John, died before 1930 when Michel died-if this is the same family which I believe it is. A Mathias as well as Michel Boltz homesteaded near Nenzel, Nebraska.
