Francis Seddon Bolton (my gt-gt grandfather) was brother of Alfred Sohier Bolton and son of Thomas Bolton and Sara Francis. His grandmothers were Elizabeth Hughes and Catherine Ridden.

I have puzzled for a long time as to where the name Seddon came from and have so far not been able to find an explanation. Let me know if you discover anything.
