John and Lydia were born in NC, 1787. One census says she was born in TN. We know they were in TN for the birth of their son, John BOLTON in 1815. Other children were born in AL. James, Elizabeth, OSBORNE LOCKETT BOLTON, Rebecca and Rachael. One of the sons, Osborne Lockett, married Nancy Risher, April,1851 in Sumter, AL. James Bolton married Martha Smith in AL. I wonder if Lydia was married before? In 1850, there was a Celestia Buffington, age 4, living with them. We do not know who she was.
I have not been able to connect my Bolton to any of the others in NC, or anywhere else.
