Hello,
In the 1851 census, I have a George Bolt (living in St. Leonards, Shoreditch and born c1815) whose place of birth is given as 'Hampshire, Isle of Wight'. He was a cabinet maker married firstly to Sarah Potter, and then after her death to Maria Wills. His father's name was Michael Bolt.
Does anyone out there have any information on the Bolt family from the Isle of Wight? Would love to hear from you.
