Hi again,

My William "Billie" Bollinger was named William Jason Bollinger by his parents Joseph and Elizabeth White Bollinger when he was born in the Castor Hill area of MO around 1852. He is listed in the 1880 Census for Iron County as still living with his parents at the time that census was taken. In addition, Iron County Marriage records show J. P. Huff married William J. BOLLINGER and Amelia J. FINLEY on 11-07-1880. According to Billie's obituary, the couple had three children at the time he died on 12-04-1885 in Iron County MO, dying after a tree or limb of a tree fell on him while he was driving a wagon delivering a load of lumber from his brother-in-law's sawmill.

According to family records, the three children of Billie and Amelia were Oscar, Hansford and Ethel BOLLINGER. They must have been born between 1881 and 1885 in Iron County MO. Unfortunately, I have not been able to identify any of these children in the 1900 and later Census records.

I would appreciate any information that you might have about this line of Bollingers.

Thanks,
Lynn
