Does anyone know what happened to Henry BOLLINGER and his children? Henry was a son of David Bollinger and Nancy Savits and he was born in NC around 1806. David brought his wife and children out to MO around 1807 and Henry grew up in Cape Girardeau Co. near Baker's Mill. Henry married Matilda WHITE in 1834 in Madison Co. MO. The couple had five children: John H. (b. ~1836), David Frank (b. ~1839), Elizabeth T. (b. ~1842), Henry Pearse (b. ~1845) and Sarah P. Bollinger (b. ~1849), all born in Madison Co. MO.
Matilda died in July of 1853 leaving her children in the care of her husband.

In 1860 Henry was listed in the Madison Co. census with the four older children while the youngest child Sarah was listed in the home of her maternal grandmother Preshey/Precia White. I have not been able to find Henry or his four older children after 1860. Sarah appears in the 1880 Madison Co. census with the family of her mother's sister Presha White WHITWORTH. According to a old newspaper article Sarah married a H. H. WOODS of Paluxy, Texas, I presume after 1880.

Does anyone know what happened to these Bollingers?
