Are there any known connections between the Missouri Bollinger County folk (George Fredrick et al) and the line of Jacques Joseph Pacide Bollinger co-founder of the Champagne house (founded 1829)?
It would have to go back quite a ways, I'm guessing, if Heinrich (George Fredrick's father) arrived here in 1738. Something along the lines of (made up, just for example) Heinrich's father could be about the same generation as Jacques gggfather, so something that far back or further.
Or, on the other hand, are they known to NOT be connected within anything resembling recent history?
