Regarding Benjamin Bolling's Tombstone:
Benjamin's son Jeremiah carved his father's headstone with his own hands, many many years ago.
Benjamin fought in the war....DAR put up the beautiful Tombstone at Flat Gap Cemetery, in Wise Co., VA.
Note: His second wife Charity is buried next to him, and possibly an infant son.
There are many Indian graves at this Cemetery, which look like large flat stones.
