I've been intrigued by the story of my great grandfather, Modesto Rocha. There no information about his family or past before his settlement in Arbieto (a town in the Valle Alto, Cochabamba). He married a Chilean women with the last name Alcocer, they had two male children. He also had two other male children with the sister of his wife (last name also Alcocer and from Chile).
It's been a family shame that our family background comes from one man and two sisters, but I'm interested in finding more about where Modesto Rocha came from. People from town have said that he had no family, so it was assumed that he immigrated from somewhere else. I'm guessing around the 1920-30's because my grandfather is around 70 years old.
If there is any information of a Modesto Rocha, please contact me. The last name Rocha is found a lot in Portugal, not as common in Spain. Those two sister are also believed to be from Chile, but may actually be originated in Bolivia but born in Chile. I'm looking for his lost family, siblings that he possibly not mentioned.
Thank you in advance!
