Hello Sebastián:
Sorry I cannot give you information on the Ashton ancestors, but I can certainly give you the descendents of Edward Anthony Ashton Fulcher in Bolivia, born in Guayaquil and who were friends with my family, having met him over 40 years ago.
Anthony was married to Esther Perou Schmidt whom he married in La Paz on 19 June 1927. They had 3 children, all born in La Paz:
1. Rosemary Evelyn Ashton Perou born in 1928, died May 1987 in Brussels, Belgium. She married Carlos Negri Chiorini, I think he was a diplomat but don't know the nationality.
2. Horacio Anthony Ashton Perou ("Tony"), b. 1930, married the lovely Miriam Baptista Gumucio, born in La Paz in 1937, and later divorced. They have one son: Robert Anthony Ashton Baptista b. in 1962 who is single.
3. Esther Marie Ashton Perou ("Chachalo"), b. in 1936, an active member of the Bolivian diplomatic corps, married and divorced Alvaro Bonilla Aragón, a Colombian diplomat, without any children.
I hope the above helps,
Regards, Rolando
